University information A private university in Jakarta established in 1986.Established with the cooperation of the Indonesia-Japan Friendship Association (PPIJ) and the Indonesian Alumni Association of Japan (PERSADA), it is one of the most pro-Japanese universities in the world.About 5,400 students. Japanese classes are compulsory for all students from 2013.There are four faculties: the Faculty of Letters, the Faculty of Economics, the Faculty of Engineering, and the Faculty of Ocean Engineering.Located in the northeastern part of Jakarta, about 4 km from the city center.
