University information A private university founded in 1937 in Seoul.It started as a women's normal college. In 1996, it became coeducational and was renamed Sangmyung University. It consists of 5 graduate schools, 19 faculties and 16 departments, and has approximately 12,000 students.There are fields such as humanities and social sciences, teachers, management, natural sciences, software colleges, arts and sports colleges, music colleges, language and literature, and design.The Seoul campus is located in Jongno-gu, Seoul, and the Cheonan campus is located in Dongnam-gu, Cheonan-si, Chungcheongnam-do.In addition, a girls' high school, junior high school, elementary school, and kindergarten are established as affiliated schools.
