University information A Buddhist private university founded in 1997 in Hsinchu City.It was named in memory of the Buddhist monk Xuanzang Sanzang (Xuanzang: Sanzo Hoshi Tokugo).Buddhism courses include Taiwanese Buddhism, Sanskrit, Taoism/Confucianism and the major historical schools of Chinese Buddhist thought.However, there are no specific religious restrictions, and Buddhism is not a major factor in students choosing the school.We are focusing on applied foreign language education (specialized education in foreign languages) and computer education, and Japanese is included in the applied foreign language department.It also operates Internet TV stations.
Location information Hsinchu City is located in the northwestern part of Taiwan, approximately 60km southwest of Taipei.A medium-sized city with a population of about 45.In the suburbs, there is a world-famous industrial park, "Hsinchu Science Park," where IT-related companies such as personal computers, communications, and semiconductors are concentrated, and is called "Taiwan's Silicon Valley."Hsinchu is also known as a city with strong winds, earning it the nickname of “Castle of the Wind”. Summer is from June to September and is hot and humid.
