Department of Nursing, Graduate School of Nursing

Message from the Dean

In the Graduate School of Nursing, we aim to develop new knowledge both domestically and internationally based on a deep understanding of human beings, apply research methods in adjacent academic fields, and contribute to the development of the knowledge system of nursing and the improvement and development of nursing practice.・We aim to develop nursing professionals.

Currently, the disease structure and social environment surrounding us are changing rapidly, and people's values regarding medical care and health are diversifying. In order to meet the diverse needs of society and fulfill its role, we offer common subjects that enable students to learn the basic knowledge of nursing and interdisciplinary knowledge, as well as the latest knowledge and research in each specialized field of nursing. We have enriched the specialized subjects that can be learned, and have also established a specialized nurse course (nursing for acute and severe patients).

The Graduate School of Nursing is not only a place to pursue learning, but also a place to acquire advanced practical skills to apply nursing science to practice and contribute to people. It is my hope that all nurses and nursing educators will grow further as educational researchers and practical leaders in nursing science by exploring practical issues at graduate school and enhancing their educational and research capabilities.
