Curriculum（カリキュラム）
Students motivation and self-learning is being promoted by the curriculum. Within two years students should be aware of and able to utilize effective self-study techniques for advancing their ability in English. The second aim is to develop students’ sense of confidence in studying English through enhancing their sense of achievement. This is done both through dealing successfully with failure and by attaining successful experiences. Together, these promote independent learning.
These aims are met through a focus on the 5 skills, as well as by focusing on topics through English, rather than merely on the language itself.
Student-centered classroom management and teaching are the fundamental idea of teaching in the department. Wherever possible, all classes should adhere to these principles.
