Mission Statement (Department of English Education)
Our goals are to enable students to function in an English speaking environment, to prepare students to meet the criteria for teaching English at various levels or to go on to graduate school in the area of Linguistics and related fields, and to achieve a significant improvement in TOEFL®/TOEIC® score to allow students to pursue the career of their choice.
In conjunction with the basic skills, we provide students with an understanding of foreign culture and society.
Upon graduation students will be able to pursue careers in education, business or graduate studies in fields related, but not limited to, English and linguistics.
