University information Established in 1969 as Malaspina College, it is a comprehensive public university offering bachelor's and master's programs.It has four campuses in British Columbia.The main campus is located in Nanaimo, central Vancouver Island.Facilities include a 4-seat theater, library, bookstore, gymnasium and fitness facility, art and music studios, computer labs, research laboratories, career center and cafeteria on its sprawling campus.

Location information Nanaimo, where the main campus is located, is a calm town surrounded by nature with a population of about 8.It takes about 5,000 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours by ferry to get to Vancouver, which is said to be the most livable city in the world, located on Vancouver Island, which is full of nature.It is also very close to major cities on the west coast of Canada (Vancouver, Victoria).Summers are short and dry, and winters are long and humid.
