University information A public two-year university established in 1969. You can earn an associate's degree/2-year university transfer associate's degree/certificate. Because it is a community college, the percentage of full-time students is low and the student population is high in age. We have transfer agreements with all California State Universities, and many of our graduates transfer to UC or California State University (CSU).

Location information Santa Clarita, where the campus is located, is a city in Southern California's Los Angeles County. It is about a 30 minute drive from Los Angeles. It is a safe city that ranks in the top 10 in the ``Safe Cities Ranking'' in the United States every year. There is very little rain, and summers are hot and dry. It is characterized by dry hills covered with shrubs and is known to be prone to wildfires.
