As globalization progresses, it is becoming more important than ever to deepen mutual understanding and strengthen relationships with countries around the world.Under such circumstances, we are implementing a learning program called "Global Study" centered on overseas experience, in order to acquire the ability to think about things from an international perspective.
"Global Studies" is a program that broadens global perspectives and experiences through overseas experiences and interactions with people of different cultures, societies, and languages, in order to develop human resources who can understand the diverse values of people around the world and think and act independently.The goal is not to simply discover diversity, but to develop the ability to think independently about why differences exist, what lies behind them, and what one can do about them, and to improve problem-finding and problem-solving abilities and communication skills through diverse experiences and interactions.
*There is an "Overseas Study Support Scholarship Program" that will subsidize part of the travel expenses (application required).
community study
●Co-Op Program* (formerly Internship): This is an educational program in which universities partner with companies to provide students with practical work experience. Through the co-op program, students will increase their interest in work and acquire business etiquette and work awareness. In addition, you can learn about the actual work system that you cannot learn in the classroom. You will be able to clearly visualize yourself working, which will be helpful for your future career.
*Due to the revision of the "Thoughts on Promoting Internships" as agreed by three ministries including the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, the name of "Internship Subjects" will be changed to "Co-op Program" from 3.
●Service learning: By participating in the process of resolving life and social issues in the local community, and by collaborating with people from various social and cultural backgrounds, students will learn about the academic system they are currently learning, their own values, and their citizens. It is an experiential learning method that nurtures sexuality.The knowledge, skills, and new sense of values gained through experience help students learn more deeply through reflection, leading them to become autonomous (proactive) learners.

What are the effects of experiential learning?
Compared to students from other universities, I feel that our students have more opportunities to learn through hands-on experience, and have increased their ability to cooperate with people from different cultures and their understanding of global issues.
