Welcome to the President's Office on the Web

President Atsushi Hamana

Message President speaks.

From the experience of “I could have done it” to the challenge of “I can do more”

University is a place of learning in which students acquire the ability to utilize specialized knowledge, as well as the ability to think for themselves, make choices, and act responsibly when entering society.

In an era where "safety" is no longer considered common sense, past experience is the key to being able to overcome unexpected problems without panic and use your own strength to overcome them.Experience is something that can only be accumulated when you have a triggering experience, reflect on what it was like for you, what you learned through the experience, and what you felt, and leave the results in a form that can be conveyed to others. is.The accumulation of these experiences will give you confidence and will give you the motivation to take on the next challenge.

Our university provides many opportunities for such experiences and has a system in place that allows students to confirm and feel their own growth each time. In addition to experience-based programs such as study abroad and internships, we effectively combine various programs unique to our university, such as active learning in interactive classes and reflection days to reflect on the results of your studies, to create a synergistic effect in your learning.

In particular, we have built strong relationships of trust with universities in rapidly developing Southeast Asian countries, and by visiting those countries, we are able to get a first-hand experience of the culture, social systems, and communication with people. In addition to cultivating the global mindset that will be needed both domestically and internationally, the experience gained in different cultural areas during your sensitive youth will be a great asset. At our university, you are sure to experience what you can do if you try. Then, use these as inspiration to challenge new possibilities for yourself and say, ``I can do more.''I hope that the four years of experience gained at our university will give you confidence and that you will leave your home as a global citizen of the 4st century.
