Voice of the teacher in charge
The knowledge of disaster psychology is the power to live.
Safety and security can be achieved through learning
A disaster is never a distant event. We live in earthquake-prone Japan, where we are exposed to heavy rains and high temperatures caused by global warming and climate change, and live in dangers such as large-scale traffic disasters, nuclear disasters, and cyber terrorism.Totally unexpected disasters, like the corona pandemic, are right next to us.In an environment like this, is it okay to leave it up to others to protect you and your loved ones?Safety and security are not given by humans. This is something that can be acquired and prepared through learning. The knowledge of disaster psychology is "the power to live", and it can be said that those who acquire it are an asset of society. We hope that you will acquire this “zest for living” during your four years of study.
