Q1: Please tell us about your current research theme (or field of specialization) and the reason or motivation for choosing that field of study.

I specialize in social welfare studies. In particular, I am researching childcare for children with disabilities, support for people with disabilities, and support for their families.Recently, my research theme is "support for mothers raising children with disabilities who need medical care."

Ever since I was in elementary school, I have loved working with small children and classmates with disabilities. At that time, I had a vague idea that I wanted to become a kindergarten teacher or nursery teacher, but as I grew up, many things changed, and my first job was in the apparel industry. However, the fact that my child was born with a severe intellectual disability triggered a major change in my life later on.At that time, I was attending a nursing home for preschool children with my mother. It was a kindergarten to promote the development of children, but I was so excited about the childcare there and the children with disabilities were so cute that I was instantly captivated by this world. I thought, "I want to do something related to rehabilitation, too," so after that, I entered university through the entrance exam for working adults, studied social welfare and childcare, and went on to graduate school.

Q2: Profile

When I was in middle school and high school, I was on the track and field club.I was tanned black and just ran outside every day.Currently, he doesn't run at all and his physical strength is declining, but he seems to have the spirit of an athlete (?) on the mental side. I'm here.

Q3: What made you glad you did this job?

At a rehabilitation facility, I have experience teaching early childcare and self-reliance support classes for autistic children.I have worked with children with disabilities and developmental delays and their parents. The children were all cute and had wonderful smiles, and I was moved by their growth. I also felt the significance of being able to provide even a little support to parents who were worried about raising children. .

Q4: Please give a message to high school students.

Even if you don't know exactly what you want to be in the future, try working on something that interests you now.Through learning and experience, you may gradually see the image of the future. If you like working with children and people with disabilities, why don't you study at the Department of Education and Welfare?
