■ Please tell us about your current research theme (or field of specialization) and the reason why you decided to pursue this field of specialization.

Currently, I am conducting research on guidance and support for children with disabilities such as developmental disabilities such as autism and ADHD, intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities, multiple disabilities, and emotional disorders, as well as support for their parents.

When I was 9 months old, I became ill and suffered from the aftereffects of being a physically handicapped child.

When I was a university student who was worried about my career path, I decided to use my experience to get a job and become a teacher who supports the growth of children with disabilities. .After graduating, I became a teacher at a junior high school and a special support school, and studied not only with children with disabilities but also with non-disabled children. I'm going to get my current job teaching.

My research theme so far has been about the growth and development of the children I met.My current research focuses on supporting children with selective mutism and guidance for independent activities in special needs education.

■ Profile

I am from the countryside of Kobe City.I grew up playing around in nature.

I love both playing and watching sports.Of course, I also enjoy watching and cheering on university club games such as baseball, soccer, and tennis.

As for work-related activities, the Hyogo Rehabilitation Psychology Study Group and the Hyogo Independence Activity Study Group provide psychological and educational services to children and adults with disabilities, their guardians, and teachers in charge. We are engaged in activities to provide

If you are interested in our activities, please take a look.

■ Message to high school students

My specialty is special needs education, and knowledge of psychology is absolutely necessary to guide and support children with disabilities. (Actually, psychology is useful for everything, such as understanding and supporting people, regardless of whether they have a disability or not.)

If you want to get into a job that involves interpersonal assistance or a job that involves a lot of people, please come and study at our university. There are many teachers who have worked hard in various fields.

"There is no genius that beats hard work" "Seeds that are not sown will not grow"...The moment you think is the time to start.Once you have set your goals for the future, take a strong step toward them.I support you.

■ Themes that can be cooperated such as lectures and interviews

Lectures and interviews on themes related to guidance and support for children with disabilities and special support education are possible. However, I am not good at purely blind and deaf education.

We also visit nursery schools, kindergartens, children's centers, elementary schools, junior high schools, and special support schools to support children, teachers, and guardians.
