One of the most memorable classes I took at the School of Business Administration was "Hospitality Management." In this class, I learned not only basic skills for working adults, but also anger management to control negative emotions and deal with them constructively. The Department of Business Administration also offers a wealth of practical learning at companies and group learning, and has a rich curriculum that tackles real business issues. My future goal is to become a certified public accountant. In addition to accurately grasping the financial situation, communication and problem-solving skills are required to provide appropriate advice based on a correct understanding of laws and regulations. Kansai International University provides an environment in which to hone these skills, and I feel that I am steadily moving forward step by step toward my goal.

I am doing my best with my work.

The Finance Division is mainly responsible for the city's budget, including budget compilation and execution management, issuance of city bonds, and calculation of local allocation tax. "Evaluation" of policy budgets is also an important job. We examine the contents from every angle, such as whether the policy is necessary in the first place, whether the expenses are reasonable, and whether the methods are appropriate, and discuss them with the person in charge. Work related to the use of taxes paid by citizens is a big responsibility. I feel a sense of accomplishment every day. The various business skills I learned at Kansai International University are still useful to me, and I feel that it was a "living learning". During my time at the university, I was selected as one of the final 600 groups out of more than 30 in a business competition hosted by Nara Prefecture, and I made a policy proposal to the mayor of a local government and received the highest evaluation, and I had many valuable experiences. Learning about the policy formation process and success stories is an advantage in working as a local government employee.
