*Reasons such as club activities, part-time work, job hunting, etc. are not accepted.

To all new students

November1On the day of the deadline, students will be given a student ID card and a student commuter certificate (student commuter pass issuance receipt) with an expiration date of the month and year they are scheduled to graduate. Please present these at the public transportation facility you will be using and purchase a commuter pass.

*School commuting area notificationPlease fill out the form in advance and submit it by April 1st.

Points to note

If you change your address, be sure to change your registered address with the university (universal passport(Apply for change of student registration information via [Application for change of student registration information]) Please go to the Student Affairs Office and exchange your student commuter certificate (student commuter pass issuance receipt) for your old address.

The expiration date of the student commuter certificate (student commuter pass issuance receipt) is the expected graduation month. Please be careful not to lose it. If lost, there is a fee for reissuing it (200yen).

About bicycle commuting

At the Miki Campus and Amagasaki Campus, if you use a bicycle to commute to school, you must notify the Student Affairs Division and obtain permission.
Since October 2015, 10, Hyogo Prefecture has made it mandatory to have bicycle insurance.
Additionally, from April 1, 2023, wearing a helmet will become mandatory for all cyclists, regardless of age. Please be sure to wear a helmet when riding a bicycle, as it will help protect your life.
Please note that commuting by bicycle is not permitted on the Kobe Yamate Campus.

Notes on commuting by bicycle

  • If you have an accident while commuting to school, please contact the Student Affairs Division of your campus.
  • Bicycles are not permitted on campus grounds.Be sure to get off the bicycle and push it to the bicycle parking lot.
  • Bicycle accidents are increasing.Observe traffic rules and drive safely.

Precautions about using the bicycle parking lot

  • Please attach the sticker issued by the Student Affairs Division to the back of your bicycle so that it can be seen when parked.
  • Please line up and park your bicycle in the parking lot.
  • Securely lock the door and take care of yourself to prevent theft.

Commuting by car/motorcycle/moped (Miki Campus)

Miki Campus allows students who come from far away to commute by car, motorcycle, or moped.By completing the necessary procedures, you can commute to school by car, motorcycle, or moped.Additionally, if you are involved in an accident while taking the reported route to school, you will be covered by the university's accident insurance.Please apply for permission to attend school at the Student Affairs Division using the method provided by the university.Please note that if there are any deficiencies, we will not be able to accept your application.

Please show your car commuter permit in a visible place on the windshield while parking.
