The moment a child said to me with a smile, "I came here because you're here," I felt that I was being recognized, and I was deeply moved. Congratulations! Please tell us how you feel now that you have passed.

I am filled with joy. I was confident in the first exam interview, so I was looking forward to the results being announced, but I wasn't as confident in the second exam as I was in the first, so I was very anxious until the final results were announced. When I found out I had passed, I was of course happy, but honestly, I think I felt more of a sense of relief. I contacted everyone who had supported me up until then, including my family, relatives, and teachers from university and high school, to share my joy at passing. The more I spoke, the more joy filled me.

What made you want to become a teacher?

Ever since I was little, I wanted to work in a job that involved working with children. I became interested in special needs education and wanted to gain knowledge about children of various ages. As I obtained several licenses, my internship at an elementary school led me to aim to become an elementary school teacher. I was attracted to the idea of creating something from scratch with children. This was because I thought it would lead not only to the children's growth, but also to my own growth. No two days were exactly the same while working with children, and every day was stimulating and intense. I realized that this was a wonderful job that would allow me to be involved in some of the memories that children will have in their lives, remembering, "That class was so fun" even when they become adults.

What made you choose Kansai University of International Studies from among the many universities available?

I was interested in special needs education and wanted to gain knowledge about children of various ages, so I was attracted to the fact that I could obtain four licenses: a childcare worker license, a kindergarten teacher license, an elementary school teacher license, and a special needs school teacher license, and decided to enroll.global study, which is themed around Overseas programI thought that the opportunity to be involved in the educational field in another country would be a valuable experience, and that it would be a place where I could fulfill my desire to do this and that.

What subject or program in particular do you feel contributed to your success?

The teachers were very kind and listened to any concerns, no matter how trivial, and I was able to ask questions freely and make improvements or solve the problems. In particular, during the interview practice, they carefully analyzed the actual questions that were asked, which allowed us to have more practical mock lessons, situational guidance, and interview practice. Even though they were busy, the teachers made time in their spare time, allowing us to do lots of repeated practice, which I think was the biggest factor in helping me pass the exam. They gave detailed and accurate guidance in a way that suited each individual. Also,"Senpro" (Center Program)By going to school, I was able to make friends who shared the same goals as me, and it was a great support for me to be able to improve and move forward together.

I think it directly led to success.Volunteer activity, experiential learningWhat is it?

school supporterI think so. I went to the elementary school where I did my teaching practice.school supporterI was able to go as a teacher. Working in an actual educational setting is more educational and useful than any classroom experience. It was reassuring to be able to imagine the children I would actually meet during the interview and situational guidance. By interacting with the children, I was able to learn how to speak, how to teach, and how to use language. Seeing actual classes up close and interacting with a variety of children gave me confidence, and I believe that confidence led to my success.

Please give a message to high school students who are aiming to become teachers.

Congratulations! Please tell us how you feel now that you have passed.

I'm happy that I was able to get into the local government I wanted. I'm excited because I want to start working there soon.

What made you want to become a teacher?

When I was in high school, I often played with my brothers, who were elementary school students and lived nearby. One reason I wanted to work in a field related to children's development was that I witnessed them becoming able to do things they hadn't been able to do before. Another big reason was that when I tutored a friend in math, which I was good at in junior high school, he praised me for making it easy to understand, and I felt a sense of fulfillment in teaching. These experiences led me to become a teacher.

What made you choose Kansai University of International Studies from among the many universities available?

I had been thinking about going to a university where I could obtain a teaching license, and so I enrolled at the recommendation of a high school teacher. To be honest, I thought, 'It's not which university I go to, but what I do there that matters.' No matter which university I went to, my goal of becoming an elementary school teacher remained unchanged.

What subject or program in particular do you feel contributed to your success?

Mock lessons, interviews, and essayscenter programI feel that this directly contributed to my success. These are things that don't have an "answer" but involve "an opponent." The key is how to express your thoughts and individuality so that your appeal and enthusiasm can be conveyed to the opponent. center programThanks to the guidance of the teachers, I was able to understand perspectives that I didn't have on my own and how I appear from a third-party perspective. I believe that constantly absorbing the guidance I received in order to be able to express myself better led to my passing the exam.

I think it directly led to success.Volunteer activity, experiential learningWhat is it?

There are various types, but among them, elementary schoolVolunteer activityI think that was the biggest direct connection. I studied at a different school twice a week for three years.volunteercontinued. volunteerSo, it was important to learn how to interact with children and how teachers conduct lessons, but even more important was being able to connect with teachers in the field. Teachers in the field invited me to study groups, taught me how to teach in special needs classes, and gave me individual advice on interviews and mock lessons. Through these experiences, I was able to solidify my own views on education and teaching, and I was able to fully express them in interviews and mock lessons, which I believe contributed greatly to my success.

Please give a message to high school students who are aiming to become teachers.

Although I'm not currently working as a teacher, I believe it's a wonderful profession. You get to interact with children as they grow day by day and share in their accomplishments. While there are many delicate and difficult aspects, it's a job full of charm that can overcome those challenges. Even if your only motivation is that you love children, I highly recommend you consider becoming a teacher. And for those hoping to study at our university, I have good news. For me, my four years at this university were like a magic spell. This is because I learned that it offers a shortcut to becoming a teacher. Our university has many experienced teachers, and they offer ample support. You can learn deeply about teaching just by talking with them. Those who ultimately become teachers will become teachers, and those who pass the teacher recruitment exam will. Why not spend four magical years at Kansai University of International Studies, as I did?

Congratulations! Please tell us how you feel now that you have passed.

First of all, I am very relieved to have passed the exam. My continued efforts despite my anxiety about the future have paid off, and I now feel joy and a sense of accomplishment.

What made you want to become a teacher?

It all started with an encounter with my homeroom teacher in junior high school. When I was having troubles, my teacher listened to me, believed in my abilities, encouraged me, and even gave me specific solutions. I felt a great sense of relief from seeing that, and I began to want to be a presence that children could feel safe with. I decided to become a teacher who could support children in any trouble they may have, and support their growth and future.

What made you choose Kansai University of International Studies from among the many universities available?

I was introduced to this university by my homeroom teacher in high school. It wasn't my first choice, but I felt that they would provide solid support throughout my four years at university and that I would be able to gain practical learning. I was particularly attracted to the internship (now the Co-op Program) that allows students to experience working in a school setting from their first year. I chose this university because I thought I would be able to acquire practical skills by working in the field from an early stage.

What subject or program in particular do you feel contributed to your success?

Above allcenter programI feel that this directly contributed to my passing the teacher recruitment exam. In preparing for the written exam, I was able to learn a wide range of subjects, including specialized knowledge, teaching knowledge, and general knowledge. I consulted with teachers individually and received advice on areas I was weak in, and studied not only on my own but also with friends who were working towards the same goal. I feel that this accumulated experience gave me the strength to overcome the first hurdle, the written exam.

I think it directly led to success.Volunteer activity, experiential learningWhat is it?

Special Needs VolunteerI believe that my experience there had a direct impact on my work. I was involved in various support activities for children in special needs classes at an elementary school in Amagasaki City. I was also able to interact with children in regular classes during recess, socializing, and collaborative learning. By interacting with the children, I was able to learn practically how to grasp the children's condition in each situation, encourage them, and teach them how to study. This experience helped me adapt to the situation, and I feel that I was able to simulate various situations for children during individual and group interviews and mock lessons.

Please give a message to high school students who are aiming to become teachers.

I have always dreamed of becoming a teacher. I think that people who want to become teachers have some doubts, such as "Am I suited to be a teacher?" and "Is the job of a teacher difficult?" I was the same. However, I was able to get through my teaching practice andvolunteerI have worked with a wide variety of children, and I believe it is an interesting job that allows me to feel a sense of accomplishment in each and every task. At Kansai University of International Studies, I can realize my dream of becoming a teacher. All of the teachers have previously worked in the field of education, so I feel I am able to acquire practical skills. They listened sincerely to even the smallest of concerns, which allowed me to pursue my dreams with peace of mind for four years, and I believe this is what makes the Faculty of Education at our university so appealing.

Congratulations! Please tell us how you feel now that you have passed.

I'm very happy. I feel like all my hard work has paid off. I received help from so many teachers and friends, so the first thing I want to do when I meet them is to express my gratitude. However, I'm filled with anxiety when I think about standing in front of students as a teacher in just a few months. I want to work hard at pre-school seminars and physical fitness.

What made you want to become a teacher?

It all started with admiration for my teachers in junior high school. Seeing how strict yet humorous they were with their students, I wanted to be like them. My desire to become an elementary school teacher stems from my own feelings as an elementary school student: "I hate school, but I love my teachers." As a teacher who interacts with children, I hope to add at least one more joy to their school life by sharing my experiences and telling exciting stories.

What made you choose Kansai University of International Studies from among the many universities available?

The main reason was that I could aim to obtain multiple qualifications. In fact, I am aiming to obtain four licenses, and I have keenly felt the importance of experience. I was able to use the hand games I learned during my training at kindergartens and nursery schools to communicate with the children, and I have become able to understand the multiple intentions behind the instructions given by the teachers, which has increased my own strengths. Also, through obtaining my disaster prevention specialist qualification, I was able to use an AED in emergency medical care and learn about the importance of disaster prevention education, which were valuable experiences.

What subject or program in particular do you feel contributed to your success?

All teacher recruitment measuresCenter Program (Senpro) It's no exaggeration to say that they managed to get me through it all. In preparation for the written exam, I was able to learn in a fun way through the secondary subjects of live music and singing, and in preparation for the interview, they delved deep into my own experiences and thoughts to ask me "why do I think that way?", so I was able to worry without worrying. In preparation for mock lessons and situational guidance, the more I did them, the more I discovered my own strengths and methods of working that I was good at, which led to increased confidence. I received a lot of advice on facial expressions, actions, and word choice when giving instructions.

I think it directly led to success.Volunteer activity, experiential learningWhat is it?

tutorThis experience was very valuable. I usually devise ways to interact with people to meet their needs, so when I interact with children, I feel like I naturally think about "how I should interact with them." Therefore, when providing situational guidance, I was able to proceed smoothly by imagining the situation and the background of the children. Also,Global Study (GS) My experience in the Philippines was also very strong. I think I was able to leave a strong impression in the interview, as I taught English to local children, established a library, and butchered live birds.

Please give a message to high school students who are aiming to become teachers.

In the teacher recruitment exam, talking about your own experiences will be your greatest strength.volunteerIt's a good idea to try out lots of practical training, or even go abroad. Since Kansai University is an "international" university, you may find yourself interacting with international students before you know it. Please give anything that piques your interest a try! If nothing appeals to you, it might be interesting to take the plunge and try something completely unknown. I hope you will gain more experience through your time at university.

Congratulations! Please tell us how you feel now that you have passed.

To be honest, I had a feeling that I didn't do well during the interview. The interviewer didn't seem to react very well either. So when I received the notice that I had passed, I felt an incredible sense of joy. I also felt a deep sense of relief knowing that I would be able to work without leaving my hometown. It was a moment when all my anxieties were wiped away.

What made you want to become a teacher?

The main reason is that I have loved working with children since I was little. When I was looking for a future career, I wondered how I could utilize this passion in my work. As a result, I felt that teaching would be the profession that would allow me to be closest to children, so I decided to pursue it.

What made you choose Kansai University of International Studies from among the many universities available?

It all started with an introduction from a high school teacher. However, what ultimately made me decide to attend was an experience I had when I participated in an open campus event. I was attracted by the dignified and cool appearance of the seniors I saw there, and I thought, "I want to study here too," and decided to choose this school.

What subject or program in particular do you feel contributed to your success?

also, center programI am convinced that this was the biggest factor in my success. The teachers were much more enthusiastic and warm in their teaching than we students could have imagined, and they also gave me many practice interviews, which allowed me to perform well in the actual interview and pass the exam.

I think it directly led to success.Volunteer activity, experiential learningWhat is it?

What was essential to my success wasGS (Global Studies)These are two ``experiences'' that I have had as an open campus staff member.
First,GSAbove all, I gained an overwhelming amount of communication skills. I'm naturally shy and hesitate to even talk to store clerks. However, by immersing myself in an environment where I had to communicate in English with people from overseas, I feel like I was able to break out of my shell. I also feel that I was able to use the conversation skills I developed at this time without any hesitation during the teacher recruitment exam interview.
Next, regarding the open campus staff, the experience of serving as the overall leader was invaluable. Through this activity, I had many more opportunities to interact with university staff and visitors. Not only did I improve my leadership skills to bring the staff together, but I also developed my planning and management skills.GSI feel that my communication skills have been further honed since my time at the university. I believe that these experiences have helped me develop the comprehensive skills necessary for a teacher.

Please give a message to high school students who are aiming to become teachers.

Whether you are aiming to become a teacher or not, Kansai University of International Studies is a place where you can gain experience. And that experience will surely give you a positive return, in proportion to the amount you gain. Not only will it become an anecdote you can talk about in job interviews, it will also be something that will be beneficial for your life. So, if there is a place or opportunity to try something new, be sure to jump in and seize the chance yourself!

Congratulations! Please tell us how you feel now that you have passed.

Thank you! I am surprised and very happy.4I'm also a little nervous about becoming a teacher from this month. I'm feeling half happy and half anxious.

What made you want to become a teacher?

I originally studied early childhood education at a vocational school. As I studied there, I began to think that I wanted to support children as they grew older. Also, while working part-time at a kindergarten, I met some former children again and heard them say, "At elementary school, it's hard to do what I want to do like I did at nursery school." At that time, I felt a strong desire to guarantee a learning environment where children could do what they wanted to do, and this was a major motivation for me to aim to become a teacher.

What made you choose Kansai University of International Studies from among the many universities available?

I was interested in two fields: childcare and education. The deciding factor in choosing Kansai University of International Studies was that even after studying specialized knowledge at a vocational school, I could transfer and study education. I felt that it was an environment where I could thoroughly deepen my knowledge of what I wanted to learn.

What subject or program in particular do you feel contributed to your success?

Of course, the lessons I learned every day were helpful, but what was especially effective was:center programI focused on strengthening each subject. Preparation for interviews and practical instruction was also a big factor. I think the fact that I was able to practice image training on how to clearly communicate my strengths to others and how to conduct practical instruction led to my success. I was able to approach the actual exam with confidence.

I think it directly led to success.Volunteer activity, experiential learningWhat is it?

After all, I had part-time work experience at a nursery school and at Suma Beach.Volunteer activityI think that my experience in early childhood education was directly related to my success. In particular, during the interview in Osaka City, the interviewer was keen on the field of early childhood education, and I was able to talk about specific anecdotes, such as "how I interacted with children and what I did at the time," which made the interviewer very interested. I was able to talk in depth about the specific ways I interacted with children, and I think this led to my being highly evaluated.

I also worked with my seminar friends at Suma Beach.Volunteer activityI grew personally by getting to know my fellow seminar members through these activities. The interviewer also told me that it was very important to actually go and experience the activities to protect the ocean after hearing about them. The fact that I was an only one with experience was a strong selling point in the interview, and I believe it directly contributed to my acceptance.

Please give a message to high school students who are aiming to become teachers.

For those of you who are currently worried about your future, I encourage you to take the plunge. When I transferred to university, my teachers often told me, "You won't know until you try." I truly believe this to be true.

Time spent worrying is never wasted, but the longer you stand still, the more afraid you become to take a step forward. It's okay to try and fail. School is a place where you can fail. That's what I've come to believe.
Kansai University of International Studies is a university with many people who support and encourage those who take on challenges. Take the first step towards your dreams! We are rooting for you.
