Career/employment support
Career and employment support to realize your dreams

The Career Support Office provides thorough, individualized support, working closely with students. More than 4,000 individual job-related interviews are held annually. Including these individual interviews, the Career Support Office is used by more than 6,000 people annually. Support is provided in a friendly atmosphere where staff know each other's faces and names. To help each student chart their own career path and succeed at the stage that best suits their aspirations, we have a multi-layered support system that works both on and off campus, including career education from the first year, individual support from resident career consultants, and various support programs such as internships.
We also value close cooperation with families and guarantors. "Advisors" and "Career Support Office staff" work together to help students realize their dreams.
Career Support Annual Schedule
Cooperative Support System of Advisors and Career Support Office Staff
At our university, there is a system in which a full-time faculty member called an advisor takes charge of each student. The advisor and the staff of the Career Support Office work together to understand the career path and situation of each student, and provide comprehensive support for job hunting at general companies, hospitals/facilities, and education-related fields.Since the information we have grasped is accumulated in the personal chart, it is possible to always provide career support based on the latest information. In addition, many of our advisors are former police officials and former school teachers, and we provide support based on the real situation on the ground.
Individual interview
From the third year to the fourth year, all students are interviewed three times. In this interview, while thinking about their future, we respect each student's thoughts and ideas, and support them so that they can gradually envision their future. There are various situations, from students who do not know where to start to students who are firmly focused on the future. At the Career Support Office, we carefully conduct interviews tailored to each individual. In addition to the three interviews, you can use it at any time when the window is open.

Correction of entry sheets and resumes
It is an important document that is the first point of contact with the company. At the Career Support Office, we will correct your writing, give advice, and help you pass the document screening so that your thoughts will reach the company.

Interview Practice
Practice interviews in an atmosphere just like the real thing.Experienced Career Support Office staff who have experience in corporate personnel will give you solid feedback on courtesy, manners, interview points, weaknesses and habits. We will guide you in detail so that you can firmly appeal your strengths at the actual interview. In addition to practice for individual interviews and group interviews, we can also handle web interviews, which have been rapidly increasing in number, in the latest environment.

Job introduction
Every year, we receive job offers from many companies, facilities, and businesses. Job offers can be viewed through the on-campus job search system, which posts job offers from approximately 9,000 companies each year, and over 18,000 companies (businesses) including hospitals, welfare facilities, kindergartens, and daycare centers, making them available to students.
In addition to these job offers, the Career Support Office conducts matching that respects the wishes and aptitudes of each individual student to the greatest extent possible, including job postings on external employment sites and Hello Work.
Job hunting support for international students
Just like Japanese students, we provide thorough individual support to international students to help them decide on their desired career path, such as finding employment in Japan or being accepted into graduate school. In addition, we provide information and know-how on career paths aimed exclusively at international students from the time of enrollment, and in particular, we hold five international student guidance sessions (including joint sessions with Japanese students) in the third year, and in the fourth year, we not only hold job guidance sessions (April and May) but also individual on-campus company information sessions (about five times a year) with companies that actively hire international students, as well as pre-study sessions before the sessions, and individual job introductions.
Operates its own job-hunting information website
- Covers the basic items you should know about job hunting!
How to write a resume, points for an interview, how to write a thank you letter for a job offer, etc. - Information provided by seniors is also posted!
Samples of PR sentences from early-stage job applicants, collection of questions actually asked in interviews, etc.

Career tutor (peer support among students)
Since 2017, the Career Support Office has operated a "Career Tutor" system, a mechanism for senior students to support junior students. Under this system, fourth-year students who have engaged in cutting-edge activities and secured job offers early on are stationed in the Career Support Office, providing a forum for junior students to ask for advice. Career tutors also run "job hunting study sessions" and sometimes speak on behalf of their seniors at career education classes and events for younger students, sharing their own success stories with junior students. By learning, sharing knowledge, and supporting each other during job hunting, students are able to approach their job search with confidence from an early stage.
