[Center for Global Education] Global Study II (Cambodia/2017 Winter Phnom Penh) Activity Report 1
On the first day of the activity, we visited Killing Fields and Tuol Sleng Prison to learn about the historical background of Cambodia. A large number of intellectuals were slaughtered by the Pol Pot regime in the late 1970s, and even today there is a serious shortage of elementary school teachers.
It was an opportunity to think about various things for learning support activities at elementary schools, which is the main program of this GS.
On the second day of the activity, we interacted with our partner university, Norton University.After exchanging information about the cultures of both countries, they visited an elementary school together with Norton University students and started learning support activities.From now on, we will proceed with a 2-day learning support program that we thought of ourselves.
