[Center for Global Education] Global Study I (China/2017 Winter Jiangsu) Activity Report

We have received the activity report of the "Global Study China (Jiangsu Province) Program".


The purpose of this program was to focus on the difference in public awareness of "safety and security" between Japan and China, and to analyze the social factors that determine it.

In the survey activities, participating students and helper students from partner universities paired up and interviewed and expressed opinions on various topics in a relatively natural atmosphere while fostering trusting relationships over a period of three days. I was able to do the exchange.Themes that are likely to eventually converge include "traffic systems in Japan and China," "disaster risk awareness," "use of smartphones," and "university life in Japan and China."I am currently in the process of sorting and analyzing the content that I have recorded in my post-event study.It is expected that students from both universities, who have been able to contact each other via SNS, will continue to interact with each other in various ways even after the completion of this program.


As mentioned above, I feel that I was able to work meaningfully in this program in light of the initial goals, and I am proceeding with post-program studies in preparation for the debriefing session to be held in April.Please stay tuned.
