Miki Open Campus
everyone!Hello.
This is Minami Arima, a fourth-year staff member of Kansai International University Open Campus. On April 4 (Sun), we held our second Open Campus this year.Thank you to everyone who came to visit us.Now, let's take a look at the state of this open campus for each department!!
It's a business department. The Department of Business Administration of our university conducts unique learning that is rooted in the region, and I enjoyed explaining it to the high school students who came.Among them, "Let's think about a new advertising strategy that utilizes VR!"Also, high school students from outside the prefecture were worried about living alone, so the seniors who were lodgings told me about the good and bad points of living alone. He told me that he was relieved. In the Department of Business Administration, please feel free to ask us anything about not only your studies at university, but also your university life and club activities! !
In the human psychology department, we have devised to be able to take all the mini-lectures of the four majors from this time.Since the new semester had just started, there were many high school students who were still unsure about the direction of their careers and the majors they wanted to study, so I tried to explain things in an easy-to-understand manner.Visitors were interested in psychology as they listened to seniors from the Department of Human Psychology talk about their university life and classes, and played games together in the corner where they could learn psychology hands-on. We were able to see a lot of smiles, and we were able to spend a fun day. From this time, we have redesigned the experience corner a little to increase the number of things that can be enjoyed visually, and devised ways to get people interested. The contents of the mini-lectures are different each time, so if you are interested, please come as many times as you like.We look forward to.
Nursing Department, many people carried their feet this time. The mini-lecture in April was in the field of psychiatric nursing, titled "Communication with Everyone Fun" and focused on communication. became. In the Nursing Experience Corner, we played "Delusion Karuta" to "learn about mental illness through Karuta."I think that you learned various things through Karuta. Also, I was able to communicate more deeply with the guardians who participated together. When I was talking at the consultation corner, one of the visitors said, "This school has a great atmosphere."All the staff were really happy that you felt that way.
The open camp management staff of our university gathers from each grade from 4st to XNUMXth grade. The content that can be talked about will be different for each grade. Please come and listen to real-life episodes of students!! I think you can get various information!!
The next open campus is June 6th (Sun). All the staff are looking forward to welcoming high school students and their guardians who are thinking about their careers!!

Amagasaki Open Campus

Thank you for participating in our open campus.
This time, at the experience booth of the education and childcare course that I belong to, I made a carp streamer using a paper plate with the theme of "swaying koi koi carp streamer" for Children's Day.A lot of unique works have been completed. It was great that the parents were able to join in and enjoy themselves. Also, I think that you could experience the fun of making something familiar, such as a paper plate. We all wrote comments on the last work we made and looked back.We were able to interact and had a great time.
The next open campus is June 6th (Sun).Let's work together at a fun experience booth. We look forward to your participation.
(Department of Education and Welfare, Child Studies Major, Education and Child Care Course, 2nd year, Chisato Shioya)
A lot of people came to the open campus again this time.
The theme of the experience booth for the Education Specialization Course is "Let's create a class." Students will learn how to create a class in a mock class format, what the teacher's intentions are, and how to make it work. I thought with everyone who participated through the making of the rules of the class.Everyone actively participated in the presentations and discussions in groups.
From the next time onwards, we plan to have high school students and their parents learn about the university and have fun, so we are looking forward to your visit! !
(Renji Oka, 2nd year, Specialized Education Course, Department of Child Studies, Department of Education and Welfare)
At today's open campus, we had a mini-lecture by Professor Hideki Yamamoto, majoring in welfare studies, and a finger lettering experience at the hands-on booth. The mini-lecture made me think about terminal care.At the finger writing experience in the hands-on booth, students were able to enjoy learning how to say hello in sign language with student staff, high school students, and guardians, introduce themselves, and perform Shiritori.
Since the department course will change from this year, the qualifications that can be obtained and the future you aim for will also change, so if there is anything you do not understand or want to know more about, please feel free to ask at any time.We look forward to seeing many of you next time.
(Mina Muneno, 2nd year, Welfare Department, Department of Education and Welfare)
Thank you for coming to our open campus today.
At this experience booth, we did an activity using English called "Let's enjoy to try imagination."In that process, high school students and staff formed a group and thought together, and I think they acquired the ability to imagine and cooperate. It was great to see everyone actively enjoying themselves.
I would like to work hard with all the staff at the next open campus.
(Nishikawa Kanon, 2nd year, Department of English Communication, Faculty of Education)
Thank you to all the guardians and high school students who came to the open campus this time.
In the Department of Business Administration, teachers introduced the faculty and gave mini lectures. Also, at the experience booth, we planned a tour with the title "Let's go to Japan" and had them come up with catchphrases. We were able to learn that there are various ideas and that there are ideas like this.
All the staff will cooperate with the next open campus, and we will do our best so that high school students and parents can enjoy it.
