Hello everyone!!

I'm Minami Arima, a fourth-year staff member of Kansai International University Open Campus. On Sunday, July 4st, we held our 6th Open Campus this year.A lot of people came to visit us this time.Thank you to everyone who came to visit us.Now, let's take a look at the state of this open campus for each department!!

Many people came to the Department of Human Psychology. The mini-lectures consist of themes in line with each major, and each mini-lecture has its own characteristics.Since the Department of Human Psychology will have a new major next year, I believe that visitors were able to learn more about each major through the mini-lectures.In the consultation corner, visitors were able to talk about their worries and simple questions, which only students can talk about, and had a lively discussion with the teachers. In the hands-on corner, the participants were able to experience psychology as if it were a game, and were able to learn while having fun.I hope that you will continue to be interested in psychology in various ways!

In the Department of Business Administration, we asked everyone who participated in a mini-lecture to think about how to face disasters under the theme of "disasters and safety and security."The instructor may have been a little difficult, but I think it was a good experience. We also had a campus tour. The tour mainly showed the facilities and equipment that we students usually use from the student's point of view. And in the student consultation corner, current university students talk about various things about university life.Ask anything from small worries to big worries.Friendly student staff will carefully consult with you. Please come and visit us!!

A lot of people carried their feet to the nursing department again this time. The mini-lecture in June was in the field of public health. The participants seemed to be very interested, and they actively participated in the event, thinking together with the seniors about the daily calorie needs of adults and making their own meal menus. .Through the mini-lectures, we were able to get an image of university classes, and the distance between high school students and student staff was shortened, and we were able to spend a very fulfilling time. When I was talking at the consultation corner, visitors said, "I want to enter this university."All the staff were really happy that you felt that way.

I was able to have a lot of people carry their feet again this time, and I was able to go home with a smile. Also, although this is the third Open Campus held this time, there are already visitors who have visited many times, and all the staff are happy.

The next open campus will be on Sunday, July 7st.From the next time, we will be holding an entrance exam preparation course, so if you want to know more about the entrance exam, please come and visit us.All the staff are looking forward to welcoming high school students and their guardians who are thinking about their careers!!

Thank you very much for coming to the open campus of our university in spite of the bad weather. This time, the education and childcare course has been having bad weather for a long time, so I made a teru teru boy with the feeling of "I hope it will be sunny tomorrow."

In addition, we made a rocket so that our wishes for sunny weather can reach the heavens!Let us put your cute and unique teru teru bozu on the blackboard, let us fly a rocket with our feelings on it, and try to make it fun no matter how many times you come to the open campus. We are thinking about setting up an experience booth, so we are looking forward to seeing many people at the next Open Campus on Sunday, July 7st.

(Megumi Sakaguchi, XNUMXnd year, education and childcare course)

A lot of people came to today's open campus even though they had bad feet.At the education specialized course experience booth this time, under the theme of "Let's go for observation," students took a mock class format and learned how to introduce observation classes that they learned in life sciences classes, and the teachers behind it. I reconsidered the intention ofIn the introduction of the observation class, we asked the students to think about and present what kind of ingenuity was necessary, and to have them actually experience it.

From the next time onwards, we would like to plan more events so that high school students and their parents can learn more about the university and have fun, so we look forward to seeing you there! !

(Nana Kurokawa, XNUMXnd year, Specialized Education Course)

Thank you so much for coming to visit us despite the unfavorable weather.

The theme of this year's welfare studies experience booth was "Which one would you choose?"For example, we asked them to freely discuss two options, such as "Would you like to live in the city or the countryside?", "Would you like to go to the mountains or the sea?"In that process, I was able to feel the difference in values necessary for welfare.

At the next open campus, we will be thinking about a different experience booth, so please come by.

(Yugo Hidaka, XNUMXnd year student majoring in welfare studies)
