Miki Open Campus

Hello everyone!!
I'm Minami Arima, a fourth-year staff member of Kansai International University Open Campus. On Sunday, July 4st, we held our 7th Open Campus this year.A lot of people came to visit us this time.Thank you to everyone who came to visit us.Now, let's take a look at the state of this open campus for each department!!
In the Department of Human Psychology, the class of the criminal psychology major in the mini lecture was full, and everyone concentrated on taking the lecture in the heat.In the hands-on corner, many people tried all four games, and enjoyed learning while listening to the staff's explanations. In addition, many people asked questions at the consultation corner, and I was able to enjoy talking with the visitors. Some of the staff members have a lot of experience, and I think that many of your questions about living alone, club activities, and part-time jobs have been answered. We are preparing a program that everyone can enjoy at the next open campus. Please join us! !
In the introduction of the Department of Business Administration, we listened to useful stories from teachers and the voices of current university students. In addition, during the campus tour, we students visited the places that we students usually use together with the student staff.I think that the participants enjoyed themselves, as they toured the campus from a student's point of view, and included some small information that students know. The Faculty of Business Administration's open campus staff are made up of teachers and students who love to talk, so please feel free to contact them!Let's enjoy talking about management!
In the Department of Nursing, a student-led mini-lecture was held on "hand washing," which students usually do casually.Considering the difference between normal hand washing and the hand washing necessary for nursing care, we asked the children to actually wash their hands.Participating high school students said, "I was able to wash my hands better than I expected, so I want to continue" and "I want to be more conscious of washing my hands." It was a good opportunity to getIn the afternoon, we also arranged a program for graduates to hear about the attractiveness of this university and the current state of affairs. Many people participated as an opportunity to hear valuable stories. The open campus will continue in July and August, but we are preparing various programs, so please come and visit us!
This time, despite the hot and humid weather, many people came to visit us, and all the staff were able to spend a fun and fulfilling day. Also, all the staff are happy to be able to make the visitors go home with a smile this time! !
The next open campus will be July 7st (Sat) and 21nd (Sun)! !From the next time onwards, we will continue to hold entrance examination preparation courses. All the staff are looking forward to seeing not only those who want to know more about the entrance examination, but also high school students and parents who are thinking about their careers.

Amagasaki Open Campus

Thank you for participating in our open campus.
This time, in the education and childcare course that I belong to, I asked the children to write their wishes on strips of drawing paper under the theme of "Wish upon a star☆~2nd season~" because it is the Tanabata season.A lot of very wonderful wishes were completed, and a lot of works full of individuality were completed for the decoration of the strip of paper. It was great that the parents were able to join in and enjoy themselves. Also, I think that they could feel the joy of using toilet paper cores to decorate the blackboard and creating works with things around them.
Every time we hold an experience booth for education and childcare courses, we think about it ourselves. We are making plans so that everyone who participates can enjoy themselves and feel glad that they participated in the open campus of Kansai University of International Studies.
The next open campus will be Saturday, July 7st and Sunday, July 21nd.We will do activities that make you feel good about participating! All the staff are waiting for you.

A lot of people came to the open campus again this time.
The experience booth for the education specialization course was held under the theme of "learning mathematics in a fun way."Through group work and presentations, we thought together with the participants how to make elementary school students enjoy learning mathematics.Everyone had a positive experience.
From the next time onwards, we plan to have high school students and their parents learn about the university and have fun, so we are looking forward to your visit! !
(Honoka Mitsuoka, 2nd year, Specialized Education Course, Department of Child Studies)
Thank you for coming in the heat after the rainy season ended!
At the experience booth for the Department of Welfare, the theme was "What would you do?" It was times. It may seem like a difficult theme at first glance, but what is required of welfare is how to act according to each person's sense of values.I think that the high school students who came also understood welfare.
The next Open Campus will be on July 7st and 21nd.We are looking forward to seeing many of you there!
(Shutaro Tanaka, 2nd year student majoring in welfare studies)
Thank you for participating in the Open Campus in the heat today.
In the English Communication Department, we played a game using English with the theme "Let's become used to speaking English!" In the first game, we did Shiritori using English. In this game, I asked them to think and write a lot of English words in order to have flexible ideas. In the second game, we played a game called Taboo Words, but this game is a game where you guess the word while working together in a team and discussing.I think I was able to improve my imagination and communication skills through this game.I think I had a lot of fun playing games with the high school students.
We have prepared a lot of games using English like this, so if you are interested, please join us.We look forward to!
(Ren Murao, 2nd year, Department of English Communication)
Thank you for coming to the open campus of Kansai University of International Studies today in the heat.
At this year's Business Administration Experience Booth, we held a wedding cake contest in collaboration with people from the University of Distribution Science. In parallel with that, we had a hair arrangement experience. The wedding cake contest is an event in which students from both universities design cakes, and only one that wins an award for excellence is turned into a real cake by a professional pastry chef.
In the hair arrangement experience, an experience booth was held that incorporated what was practiced in the ceremony industry theory of the second graders. There were a lot of people who don't usually curl their hair or who can't do it by themselves, and I was able to see a very happy smile with a little arrangement. We were able to practice what we learned in class, and it was a very good experience.
The next Open Campus will be on Saturday, July 7st.We look forward to seeing many of you there.
