Miki Open Campus
Hello everyone!!
I'm Minami Arima, a fourth-year staff member of Kansai International University Open Campus.This time, we held an open campus for two consecutive days, Saturday, July 4st and Sunday, July 7nd.A lot of people came to visit us this time.Thank you to everyone who came to visit us.Now, let's take a look at the state of this open campus for each department!!
On the first day of the Department of Human Psychology, Faculty of Human Sciences, there were many participants who came from far away, partly because it was summer vacation.Many people participated in the entire program, from the opening to the mini-lectures and entrance exam preparation courses.In addition, many of the students were participating in our university's open campus for the second time or more, and we received many questions about their majors. On the second day, in a mini-lecture of the Psychological Counseling Major, a psychological counselor who was a graduate of the course talked about "tricks for becoming a good listener."From now on, mini-lectures and entrance exam preparation courses will be held with different contents each time.The hot days continue, but we are looking forward to the next open campus! !
Many people came to the Faculty of Business Administration as it was the beginning of summer vacation.At the management booth, you can talk with teachers about management and economics.We can respond to a wide range of topics, from seasonal stories to stories from a while ago.I think it will be a good opportunity to broaden the range of specialized knowledge and ways of thinking because you can hear opinions from an expert's point of view.Also, many people experienced VR.We were able to experience the latest technology first-hand, and received many comments that surprised us.Those who wished to study in other departments other than the Department of Business Administration were also able to experience it.You can also listen to easy-to-understand and interesting explanations by the management teacher, so please come and visit us.You are doing it in a cool place, so how about taking a break?
The mini-lectures of the Faculty of Health Sciences were run by students on both days.We thought together how to wash the head, how to make the patient's bed, and how to make a comfortable posture.The high school students commented, "It was surprisingly difficult when I tried it," and "I learned a little bit about how to devise it."We also had alumni who are active as nurses come and hear about the strengths of our university and the current situation, which I think was a very valuable opportunity.
On July 7st, those who wished to visit the hospital actually visited the Kita-Harima General Medical Center, which is called an open hospital.If you couldn't participate in the open hospital at this open campus, we are planning to participate in the next open hospital program on August 21th, so please join us!
We are still holding open campuses during the summer vacation period, so please come and visit us!
This time, even though the temperature was high and it was very hot for two days in a row, many people came to visit us, and all the staff were able to spend a fun and fulfilling day.All the staff are very happy to see so many visitors go home with smiles on their faces again this time!!
The next open campus is August 8th (Sun)!!Next time, we will hold an information session on the KUIS Honors Program.If you are interested, please join the information session.All of our staff are looking forward to welcoming not only those who want to know more about the entrance examination, but also high school students and their parents who are thinking about their career path.
