Due to the recent heavy rains in Tamba City, underground drainage channels were clogged with earth and sand, and houses and warehouses for work were flooded.Under the scorching sun, the students, sweating profusely, worked together with local residents and members of SEEDS Asia (an international NGO, Nada Ward, Kobe City) to fill sandbags, carry them, and stack them on the river bank.
