Miki Open Campus

Hello everyone!!
I'm Minami Arima, a fourth-year staff member of Kansai International University Open Campus. An open campus was held on Sunday, September 4nd.A lot of people came to visit us this time.Thank you to everyone who came to visit us.Now, let's take a look at the state of this open campus for each faculty.
Many people from the Faculty of Human Sciences participated in the mini-lecture this time as well.In particular, the lectures of the psychological counseling major and the criminal psychology major were popular. In addition, many of them said that it was their second or more time to participate in our university's open campus, and we received many questions about the details of their majors.Furthermore, this time, alumni who are active as legal instructors and psychological counselors came and asked various questions from high school students.I think it was a very valuable experience to hear from a graduate who is actually working as a psychologist.
In the Faculty of Business Administration, we talked a lot about how students usually spend their student life, as well as introducing the faculty. Some of the high school students were interested in club activities, and I was consulted about how to balance school and club activities. Many people visited the booth of the Faculty of Business Administration this time as well, and I am happy that some of them have participated more than once. The eyes of the high school students who listened intently to the story were powerful, and we, the staff, were also inspired!!
A mini-lecture at the Faculty of Health Sciences, this time in the field of pediatric nursing, was about changing diapers for babies and weaning food.In the mini-lecture, participants actually measured the height and weight of their babies, and had them eat the baby food that babies are eating. .Then, in the afternoon, there was a presentation by a senior who had gone to overseas training, and the students who actually participated talked about the contents of the survey.I was able to convey the appeal of the program while communicating with the high school students!!
Even though it was still hot, many people participated and it became a lively open campus!! We staff were also able to enjoy running the open campus.
The next open campus will be on Sunday, September 9nd.The next entrance exam preparation course will be interview preparation (individual interview/group interview) and essay preparation. All the staff are looking forward to seeing not only those who want to know more about the entrance examination, but also high school students and parents who are thinking about their careers.

Amagasaki Open Campus

It's still hot days, but thank you for coming to our open campus.
This time, at the experience booth of the education and childcare course that I belong to, we did modeling activities with the theme of "Pukapukazabu~~n welcome to ocean!!".The wall of the sea prepared in advance was filled with creatures living in the sea that were created using familiar paper cups and paper plates. Each time, the theme is different, and the students take the lead in holding hands-on booths that everyone can enjoy.
We will continue to prepare plans that will make you return home with satisfaction for a moment full of smiles. We are looking forward to seeing many people from the next time onwards.

Although it was very hot today, many people visited our university's open campus.
Our education specialization course held an experience booth with the theme of "teacher's drawer", and had them experience several things necessary for building relationships with children in a game-like way, such as the camp game and origami.High school students and parents enjoyed the game with a little nostalgia.
Besides the hands-on booth, we were able to convey the goodness of our university to high school students and their parents through campus tours and consultation booths.
All the staff will do their best so that the high school students and parents who come to the open campus after the next time can learn more about our university!
(Yuki Takemura, 2nd year, Specialized Education Course, Department of Child Studies)
Many high school students and parents came to today's open campus.
At the experience booth, we did a blind walk, which was about deepening how to support the visually impaired.I think that everyone enjoyed it and learned about the position of the support side.
This year's open campus is also remaining 9 times in September and 2 times in December. Please come by all means! We are looking forward to preparing content for high school students and their parents to learn about and enjoy Kansai International University.

Thank you for coming in the heat.
At the experience booth of the English Communication Department this time, we played two games using English with the goal of communicating in English with people we met for the first time through group work.I was very happy that both high school students and guardians participated with smiles.I was able to talk with many people and I myself was able to spend a very enjoyable day.
All the staff will be waiting with a smile at the next open campus. Please come by all means.
(Riri Inoue, 2nd year, Department of English Communication)
Thank you to all the guardians and high school students who came to the open campus this time.
In the Department of Business Administration, teachers introduced the faculty and gave mini lectures. The experience booth was divided into two sessions, the first of which was the theme of "planning a trip", where participants were asked to plan their own tours. It was great to be able to deepen exchanges with everyone, including international students. The second theme was "Dress Expo", and we asked them to have fun by seeing and touching actual dresses.I hope many of you enjoyed it.
All the staff will cooperate with the next open campus, and we will do our best so that high school students and parents can enjoy it.
