In Service Learning B, “Nature Experience Activities and Child Growth,” through nature experience activities, children in infancy and adolescence will come into contact with the power to live (knowledge, virtue, and body). From the spring semester to the summer semester, we will work on three hands-on learning activities with the aim of cultivating the ability to support growth.
In the second experiential learning, we supported the "Summer Children's Outdoor Classroom (Family Camp)" hosted by Miki Horseland Park (Eo no Mori Training Center) for two days and one night on July 7-27. I participated as a staff member. This time, in addition to working with the children, I also provided management support and was in charge of recreation at the campfire.
Reports from the students who participated said, "I learned that there is a lot of support behind the surface work," and "I learned the importance of being a role model for children, refraining from acting, and looking around and taking action." I got it." was heard.
As for the third experiential learning, the “Day Camp” (co-sponsored by the Midorigaoka Community Center and Aoyama Community Center), planned and managed by the students themselves, is scheduled for August 8th.
