In Service Learning B, “Nature Experience Activities and Child Growth,” through nature experience activities, children in infancy and adolescence will come into contact with the power to live (knowledge, virtue, and body). From the spring semester to the summer semester, we will work on three hands-on learning activities with the aim of cultivating the ability to support growth.
The third experiential learning, which is the final activity of this service learning, will be held on August 3 at Miki Horseland Park (Eo no Mori Training Center). This time, the students were responsible for everything from dealing with the children to overall management, so we spent a lot of time preparing in advance and made a detailed plan.As a pre-camp, we practiced rehearsals, shared reflection points, reworked our plans, and proceeded with preparations for the day.
Despite many failures on the day of the event, the students put their strengths to good use and struggled. From the impressions of the elementary school students who participated, "It was a lot of fun because I was able to talk and play with the leaders a lot. "I want to come back next year. It was fun!", "The leaders were really funny and made me smile." I was able to have fun memories with you," and "I didn't think camping could be this fun."
After completing the third experiential learning, I would like to reflect on what the students learned and how they contributed to the community, and put together a final report. .
