In this program, we will conduct support activities for children from the perspective of play in after-school daycares and orphanages in South Korea, and how we should interact with children in after-school daycares and orphanages through such activities. For the purpose of deepening the understanding of what is going on, we worked for 3 days from March 20th to 24th.

On the first day of the activity, we visited Toseo University, our partner school, in the morning.A total of 1 people, mainly Japanese language students, participated in the event and had an exchange meeting with 15 students from our university. We spent a peaceful time talking about how to interact with children, which is the purpose of this global study. After having lunch with each group, we participated in a taekwondo trial session. We actually experienced plank breaking and had a lot of fun.On the second day of the activity, I went to the children's center to say hello, and finished the activity on the first day.

On the second day of activities, activities were carried out at two locations, the Wongguan Children's Center and the Ondalsen Children's Center. At a facility that children in elementary school attend, I experienced the activities prepared by the students together with the children.Activities such as origami, neurasthenia, handicrafts and origami made me lose track of time.In an environment where the language was not fully understood, it seemed that they were able to entertain the children while devising ways to communicate.Tomorrow, we plan to use the park of the nearby National Maritime Museum to work with the children from the two facilities.

On the third day of activities, we worked with 3 children from the Wongguan Children's Center and Ondalsen Children's Center on the beach terrace in front of the National Maritime Museum. Divided into 37 groups, they did physical activities such as tag, ball play, Daruma falling over, rope jumping, and balloon tag for 7 hour each in the morning and afternoon.I spent a meaningful time hitting my body with all my might with the children. They seemed to have gotten used to how to communicate with the children, and they were active in a friendly atmosphere.

The schedule for GS Korea Busan ends with this activity, and I will return to Japan tomorrow.
