Thank you for participating in our open campus.
This time, the education and childcare course was in charge of production activities with the theme of "decorating the entrance ceremony".We made name tags in the shape of cherry blossoms, played a self-introduction game called "What is your name?" rice field.I am very happy that many people enjoyed the self-introduction game and enjoyed creating the one-of-a-kind mural in the world that everyone cooperated with.We are doing experience booths that everyone can enjoy with different themes every time.
We will continue to plan experience booths that can be enjoyed by the high school students who participated as well as their parents. The next open campus will be on Sunday, May 5th.All the staff are looking forward to your participation.
(Risa Kido, new sophomore, Faculty of Education)
It was the first Open Campus of the year, and many people came.
This time, the special course was in charge of the experience booth, "Let's learn math formulas in depth and fun."Here, elementary school students who had not learned the formula for the area of a trapezoid used the formula for figures that they had learned in advance, and asked them to independently think about how to obtain it through the work.I was able to change the shape to a triangle, a parallelogram, etc., and discovered many ways to find it without using formulas.
Next time, we are preparing a plan for high school students and parents to have fun and learn about the university, so we are looking forward to your visit!
(Faculty of Education new sophomore Asuka Fujii)
Thank you for coming to our open campus despite your busy schedule!I would appreciate it if you could experience the faculty and programs that you are interested in.
The theme of the experience booth this time was "Experience Booth XNUMX: Let's talk without using your voice."It is about understanding the feelings of people with hearing impairments, using a "communication board" written in the order of the Japanese syllabary, and conveying words and feelings with just your eyes and fingers. They also experienced activities such as a message game and Shiritori.I was able to get them to know that it would be possible to communicate with people with disabilities.
The next Open Campus will be held on Sunday, May 5th.We look forward to seeing many of you next time!
(Momoe Uemura, new sophomore, Faculty of Education)

The other day, we held the Kansai International University Open Campus.Thank you to everyone who came.
This time, in the undergraduate introduction, I introduced the content of "the difference between management and economics."I was very happy to see that some of the high school students were eager to ask questions about the content even after the introduction of the faculty.
The experience booth was divided into two sessions. The first class was "Let's become a manager".We changed the contents significantly from the last time, and we did a class to rebuild the amusement park.I was very happy to see everyone talking happily. Also, I was happy that the high school students who participated last time also participated again. For the second time, we held a class called "Wedding Museum".I did a quiz about weddings.Thank you for your interest and listening. And we enjoyed touching the dress that we actually wore.
I enjoyed touching the dress that I can't usually see.We hope that this open campus will spark interest in the Faculty of Business Administration and Kansai University of International Studies.

Miki Open Campus

As it was the first open campus in 2019, many third-year high school students came to decide their career paths. In addition, first-year and second-year students also came to the open campus for the first time.We were able to introduce the characteristics of the Faculty of Human Sciences, Faculty of Business Administration, and Faculty of Health Sciences through hands-on corners and mini lectures. It was an open campus with many people coming from afar, and the staff made the day very fulfilling.
Now, let me tell you about the situation of each faculty.
≪Human Sciences≫
Since it was spring break, I think there were many people who came from far away.In addition, many people were interested in criminal psychology majors, and many people were seen talking with staff majoring in criminal psychology at the consultation corner. Many parents said, "I'm glad I was able to talk with current students."Many people participated in the psychology trivia board and campus tour.
≪Business Administration≫
In the Faculty of Business Administration, I had them experience two patterns of classes. The first is a class that teaches the fun and enjoyment of the class, and the second is a specialized class that teaches students how difficult it can be.Both are part of the classes you will take when you actually enter a university, so if you are interested in learning about the faculty and what university classes are like, please give them a try!Kansai University of International Studies continues to evolve. Please come and see for yourself!
≪Faculty of Health Sciences≫
The mini-lecture at the Faculty of Health Sciences was in the field of motherhood, "Let's feel the baby (from the fetus to the newborn)."Parents who came with high school students must have remembered when their children were little. The high school students were thrilled and excited as they held the baby dolls that expressed their respective weights and sizes. Many of you have said that it was good to see the practice in the actual class.
The open campus of Kansai University of International Studies is a different mini-lecture each time.
The next open campus will be on June 5th (Sun). We are waiting for you to visit us!

Thank you to all the participants for coming!
We are looking forward to the next open campus from the COC staff, the staff on the day, and the faculty and staff!
