[Faculty of Human Sciences] Local activity of service learning "Fusion of music and knowledge in the library"

From the afternoon of Sunday, June 2019, 6, participants of the Service Learning Program "Fusion of Music and Knowledge in Libraries -Aiming for an Exciting Library-" of the Department of Human Psychology visited the Miki City Central Library.

In this program, students understand the differences between university libraries and public libraries, and make proposals to promote their use based on their own experiences as users.We will work with the cooperation of the librarians of the Miki City Central Library and the members of the Library Tomonokai and Miki.
On this day, "Central Library Festival 2019" is being held.Immediately, I visited the "free used book exchange meeting" at the entrance.After that, we had a meeting with the staff of Library Tomonokai Miki, and we had a meeting about the "Parent-Child Exciting Night at the Library" which will be held from 8:1 on Thursday, August 19st.The students listened intently while taking notes, confirming how they would be involved in the event.
In order to support the activities of the "Parent-Child Library at Night", it is essential to know the library's collection, so after the meeting, the librarian explained the library's collection.

After supporting the activities of the August event, we are planning to hold a student-planned concert on Saturday, September 8st.We will notify you as soon as the details are decided.
