At Dongseo University

This program aims to support children in after-school daycares and children's homes in South Korea from the perspective of creative activities, and how we should interact with children in after-school daycares and orphanages through such activities. I came to Busan with the aim of deepening my understanding of what is.

On the first day of the activity, activities were carried out at two locations, the Wongguan Children's Center and the Ondalsen Children's Center. At a facility that elementary school students attend, we experienced modeling activities prepared by the students together with the children.

On the second day of the activity, we visited our partner school, Dongseo University, in the morning.A total of 15 people, mainly students from the Japanese language department, participated in the event and had an exchange meeting with 27 students from our university.Starting with a self-introduction, we had a friendly exchange about our hobbies and majors at each other's universities. After lunch, all the participants participated in a Taekwondo experience session and had a great time, such as trying to break a wooden plank.

After that, the students visited the Children's Center in different groups. It seemed that I was able to interact with the children with a feeling of more familiarity than yesterday.

There were voices of concern about the situation in South Korea, but it was a valuable experience to be able to carry out such a lively inter-university exchange.
