The 13th installment of Kobe Shimbun Mikiban's "Academic Exploration - Introductory Lecture at Kansai International University" series is "Exploring Asian Management Strategies" by Professor Xiao Wei of the Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Business Administration, who specializes in international management.
In the article, Professor Xiao introduced a course on "Asian Marketing Theory" currently being offered at the Department of Business Administration. “Asia, which is achieving sustainable economic growth, is attracting attention from the world as a promising market, but Asia is vast and has a wide variety of cultures, religions, economic levels, etc., and a uniform strategy will not work. Japanese pop culture, such as anime, manga, and games, is widespread in Asia, and we should focus on the commonalities of culture when developing the Asian market."
