My name is Ogawara, a faculty member of the Department of Nursing, Faculty of Health Sciences, Kansai University of International Studies. She has more clinical experience as a midwife and has only been a teacher for about two years. To date, we have provided more than 2 deliveries. As she worked as a head nurse, she made sure to be present at all births.
Caregivers pay the utmost attention to the birth so that the single-minded and hard-working mother, the strong vitality of the baby, and the "instinct" and "power" of the mother and child can be maximized. .
Birth, where normality and abnormality are two sides of the same coin, provides a relaxing environment for women in childbirth, despite the high tension of caregivers.

I always express my gratitude to my newborn baby, saying, "Thank you for being born safely."Then, they are moved by the birth of life and enjoy the preciousness of life with their whole bodies, thinking, "What a series of mystical and miraculous events!"
Each childbirth is different, so I never thought that I could complete the care at the time of childbirth.
Those who do life work should not be haughty.I always go back to the beginning and value the attitude of facing childbirth with sincerity.

As a teacher, I would like to continue working with midwife students to think about how to provide safer and more comfortable childbirth for women in labor.
