GS activity report

Global Study I held in February (Domestic/Kobe Winter 2) ② Elementary school program will be introduced.

Participating students in this program are learning about the current situation and issues of education for children with roots in foreign countries.

Children with roots in East Asia such as China and South Korea, Southeast Asia such as Vietnam and Thailand, South America such as Brazil and Peru, and other European and African countries study at elementary schools in Kobe.

In order to learn about the current situation, the students visit elementary schools and observe what is happening in regular classes, Japanese language classes, and native language classes.In addition, I am deepening my understanding by interviewing teachers and children and conducting questionnaires.

The students participating this time hope to become elementary school teachers in the future.When they become teachers, it is quite possible that they will be in charge of children with foreign roots.I would like you to make use of this learning experience in your future teaching career.
