The 2021 Commencement Ceremony was held on Tuesday, March 3, 16 at Kobe International House Kokusai Hall.
As a countermeasure against the new coronavirus infectious disease, in order to ensure the health and safety of our graduates and their families, we ask that guests and families refrain from attending. The first graduation ceremony of the school was held based on meticulous infection prevention measures.
There are 177 undergraduate students in the Faculty of Education, 189 in the Faculty of Human Sciences, 80 in the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, and 114 in the Faculty of Contemporary Society. A total of 12 people, 2 from the Graduate School of Human Behavioral Sciences and 574 from the Graduate School of Nursing, attended the ceremony.
“I will continue to study with confidence and pride as an alumnus of Kansai University of International Studies, which I gained from my valuable experience and many learnings at Kansai International University, and the meaningful time I spent with my teachers and friends. I would like to keep moving forward one step at a time as a member of society, without forgetting the attitude of continuing.” Ms. Ayumi Uchiyama (Department of Education and Welfare, Faculty of Education), representative of the graduates, expressed her gratitude.

Unfortunately, there will be no student-sponsored graduation party this year, but after the school song was sung by the 32 members of Kobe Yamate Girls' High School's music department, the faculty and staff applauded and we left the ceremony reluctantly saying goodbye.
Congratulations to all the graduates on your graduation. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
