We had an open campus (OC) on April 4th.Due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection, this time it was suddenly changed to online only.
The announcement was made just before the event, and I think that it may have caused some inconvenience to those who had already applied.Sorry about that.
However, the mini-lectures and student corners on the day were very lively thanks to the cooperation of the participants. This time, I would like to ask Mr. Uni, the student staff representative who was involved in the planning and operation of this open campus.

Q What are the student staff doing at OC?
A We are planning and operating from scratch with a focus on student staff.
For example, I am in charge of the student-sponsored corners and consultation corners, and I am also in charge of the reception and moderation on the day.
I also talk about my experience as a student staff member, hoping that I can reduce the doubts and questions of the visitors as much as possible.
In addition, the student staff are doing various things, so pleaseCome and see what we're really up to!
Q What did you pay attention to during this OC, and what did you devised?
A I was conscious of conveying the charm of the school as much as possible in a short time.
This time it's remote, so I'm going to keep looking at my computer screen all the time.
When I did that, my eyes would get tired and I would lose my concentration easily, so I didn't think I could do it for too long.
there,Just like face-to-face OC, the environment is close and easy to talk with student staffAfter consulting with the teacher, we decided to split into groups and have time to talk.

Q Please tell us your impressions after trying this OC.
A I wasn't sure until the end.
From the OC in March, the student staff changed to a new system, and the second session was changed to online only, so there were many things I was worried about.
However, from those who came"I'm glad I was able to learn about the school" and "It was remote, but I'm glad I came"You said.
And I was really happy that everyone who participated stayed until the end.thank you very much!
On the other hand, we found issues and points for improvement in this OC.I would like to make use of this reflection next time and make the OC more enjoyable for those who come.

Q Please give a message to high school students.
A Before deciding on a university, please try to participate in the OC!
Kansai International University's OC has different mini-lectures every time, and you can listen to the actual experiences of various student staff.
I wish I could help reduce the anxiety and doubts of those who participated.
If you have never been before, or if you are hesitant to participate, please come by all means.
And for those who have participated once, please come back again and again."Oshi student staff"Please find.
All the student staff are looking forward to seeing you!
