[G Komi Department] How do you measure English ability? ①

How do you measure your English ability?
The Practical English Proficiency Test (Eiken), which objectively measures English proficiency, is a test that many high school students have taken. What other tests are there and when should they be taken?

For example, the TOEFL, which is often required especially when entering an American university, is an abbreviation for "Test of English as a Foreign Language". This is the most commonly used test.
The "International English Language Testing System (IELTS)" is also recognized by higher education institutions in the UK, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and other English-speaking countries.

TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication) is a test that was started mainly to measure English proficiency for business.
In Japan, it is widely used in universities and companies, and I think everyone has heard of it.Our university also conducts TOEIC tests on a regular basis, and also offers intensive courses and programs to improve your score.

TOEFL, IELTS, and TOEIC are not "pass" or "fail", but the results are expressed in points, and you can clearly see that your English skills are improving as you study through these.
Also, by taking the test many times, you will get used to the test and you will not be nervous. As a result, you will be able to demonstrate your abilities.

Everyone, let's take the challenge!
