[Tourism Department] "The number of falls makes me stronger"

When I was in elementary school, I heard a story about a neighbor riding a bicycle across the Eurasian continent to London. In addition, he wrote "Pedals to London", and I picked up the book and was inspired.

When I entered junior high school, I was attracted to a comic called "Cycle Guy", which tells the story of a boy who travels around Japan on a bicycle, and that inspired me to start cycling.

The first bicycle trip was a 1km round trip from Kumamoto to Nijinomatsubara in Karatsu, Saga Prefecture.

I opened the map many times to consider the route, read the guidebook and considered the places to visit, read the bicycle magazine, prepared the equipment, and was able to complete the trip safely. After that, I continued my bicycle trip visiting famous places and historic sites in various parts of western Japan.

This is the starting point of my journey.

After graduating from university, he was away from biking, but a hotel client recommended him to become a mountain biking (MTB) instructor, and he began helping out with a hands-on learning program.

After that, I had the opportunity to start a business within the company, and decided to launch a travel company.
Planning skills cultivated through bicycle trips.Traveling is something that you can enjoy by planning, executing, and running a travel business that makes a living.

As an aside, I became addicted to mountain biking and started participating in domestic races, and when I was 40, I had the chance to participate in an international race in Chiang Rai, Thailand, and recklessly entered. Airlift MTB and go to the site. The event is a 4-day rally-style race of XNUMXkm, a grueling XNUMXkm run through the mountains in the heat and squalls. Please don't ask me about the results.Finish the race anyway!
