<Award Winner's Comments>
・Academic Excellence Award Aki Yamazaki, 2nd year, Department of Integrated Sociology, Faculty of Social Sciences
I am very honored to receive the Outstanding Achievement Award this time.
I could not have achieved this result on my own.In the fall semester, we switched from online classes to face-to-face classes, and I felt the joy of taking lectures with everyone.Among them, the presence of friends who studied together was very important.
I myself am not particularly capable of anything.Whenever I tackle a challenge, I always think of a famous quote. “What will the issues that are presented help us in the future?Rather than thinking that way, there is meaning in itself in tackling the problem.”That is why we must seriously face each and every issue in front of us.to continue doing what is normal.I kept these two things in mind.The result is important, but above all, I feel that the process of working on it will lead to my own growth and experience in the future.
Receiving such a wonderful award has increased my motivation to learn.I still have many goals, but I am grateful that I have an environment where I can learn, and I would like to work even harder.

・Excellence Award Keita Suda, 3rd year, Department of English Communication, Faculty of International Communication
I am very happy to receive such a wonderful award for the first time.
Sports were my passion until I entered college.Until now, I had no time to study, and after entering the school, I have devoted myself to making up for the gaps and delays I have made so far.After meeting a professor at university, my sense of values changed 180 degrees. Thanks to that, I was able to make my university life meaningful. I believe that we have been able to overcome the immediate challenges by clarifying what we must do.Just like the four-letter idiom that I cherish in myself, "everything is thorough", I thoroughly do casual trivial things that I tend to neglect, such as taking the obvious things for granted. I would like to be a person who hasPeople are living beings who have to keep learning all the time in the age of 100 years of life.I would like to update myself for the next step up.

・Award for Excellence in Performance: Azusa Iwata, 2nd year, Department of Tourism, Faculty of Contemporary Sociology
I am very happy to receive the Outstanding Achievement Award.When I received the Encouragement Award in the spring semester, I learned that there was an award for excellent grades and wanted to receive the award myself.
Face-to-face classes resumed in the fall semester, and it was a semester where I was finally able to realize that I was a "college student".Thanks to that, I changed the way I approached assignments and listened to lectures, and as a result, I think my GPA improved.
While I am happy that I was able to win this award, I am also worried that I will lose my mind from now on.However, I am convinced that this experience of receiving the award will serve as a foundation for my future life and will have a positive impact on me.I would like to continue learning without being complacent until I graduate.
