[G Komi Department] How do you measure English ability? ②

Last time, I introduced that there are various tests such as TOEFL, IELTS, and TOEIC in addition to Eiken to measure your English ability.Perhaps there are some people who are thinking, "If you don't pass or fail, why don't you try it once?"

This time, let's talk a little about CEFR (pronounced cefar), which is the standard for measuring English proficiency. CEFR is an abbreviation of "Common European Framework of Reference for Languages" which was developed in Europe and stands for "Common European Framework of Reference for Languages".

The European Union (EU) was established in 1993 with the aim of stabilizing and developing Europe as a whole. When such a coalition is formed, communication between people becomes particularly important. Therefore, in order to promote mutual understanding and mutual exchange within the EU region, it has become widely required to acquire the necessary level of proficiency in a language other than one's mother tongue.

In CEFR, the acquisition level is divided into "A: basic stage", "B: independent stage", and "C: proficient stage".Each is further classified into two stages, and divided into the following six stages.

A1: Those who have just started learning / beginners
A2: Those who are continuing their studies/beginners
B1: Those who are learning / Intermediate
B2: Those who can handle practical work, semi-advanced
C1: Those who have excellent language proficiency/advanced
C2: Proficient who is as good as a native speaker

Well, what level are you aiming for?
