
On the afternoon of Saturday, July 2021, 7, the "Sports x Disaster Prevention Festival" was held at the Miki Campus after implementing measures to prevent infectious diseases.The participants were 10 first-year students from the Department of Business Administration, who were mainly from the strengthening clubs (baseball club, soccer club, and tennis club), faculty members of the Faculty of Business Administration, and related staff.
This event is sponsored by the Sports Promotion and Regional Revitalization Promotion Center, co-sponsored by the Safety Management Education and Research Center and the Faculty of Business Administration, with the cooperation of active members of the circle "KUIS BOSAI", OB / OG, and the NPO Plus Arts. It was carried out as part of the Japan Sports Agency commissioned project.
"Sports x Disaster Prevention Festival" is a time-trial stamp rally in which participants are divided into 11 teams and participate in 7 competitions.
The 7 sports consist of 4 sports from the Defense League* program and 3 KUISs original sports.In addition to the elements of sports, there is also a quiz about disasters that requires going to the library to find the answer.All of them are competitions assuming disaster response.Each group plans a strategy and competes on which order to go around and how to avoid crowds and go around speedily.

As a result, the pink team, who reached the finish line in 1 hour and 30 minutes, won with a total score of 81 points.Vice President Yamashita handed the winning team a large-sized disaster prevention handkerchief as a prize.This large-sized handkerchief has various functions, such as protecting your throat from dust and tying it to stop bleeding when you are injured.
All of the students in the strengthening club at Miki Campus belong to the Faculty of Business Administration, and the Faculty of Business Administration has a major in disaster prevention and crisis management. increase.
In addition, this event was also a trial of a disaster prevention event for citizens to be held at the end of 2021 as a project of the Japan Sports Agency.We will reflect on this experience so that it will be useful for the next disaster prevention event and future learning.
