[Faculty of Psychology] Learning while experiencing support activities for children Activity report 3rd report

In Service Learning B “Learning with Children” at our university, we aim to learn understanding and relationships with children through outdoor activity programs for elementary school students, and to be able to plan, implement and operate programs by ourselves.

So far, we have reported the first report (support staff experience of the outdoor activity program) and the second report (rehearsal for the day camp).

After the preliminary learning so far, we reached the day camp performance on Saturday, August 8th.University students formed pairs, prepared their own water play programs, and practiced and responded to the families who actually participated. Many students were unfamiliar with this kind of response, and although there was some stiffness in how to explain and how to talk to them, as the number of sessions increased, they gradually became able to face the participants and respond with an appropriate sense of distance. was seen.

In future post-learning, we plan to reflect on what we have learned in this activity and work on internalization, such as how we can make use of it in the future.
