[Faculty of Education] Ibasho-Creating Program in Collaboration with High School Students Starts

The 2nd and 3rd year students majoring in Welfare, Department of Education and Welfare, Faculty of Education, are active in the Sanwa Hondori Shopping Street in Amagasaki City.

Last year, even in the midst of the corona wreck, while doing fieldwork in the shopping district and conducting interviews with each shop owner, various opinions were raised about whether it would be better to attract more young people to make the shopping district lively. I came across the question of whether there is a need for a mechanism that allows people with different backgrounds to interact with each other. In response to this question, we are considering a program that can be realized by students, and this year, we will create a place where diverse people can gather and interact under the theme of "Creating a place for multiple generations - Aiming for sustainable community development -". has been put into practice from a welfare perspective.

In addition, in this program, we will work on Ibasho management in collaboration with the Amagasaki Oda High School Nursing and Medical Type 2nd-year "Children's Ibasho Group".Already on August 8rd, we had a face-to-face meeting and a meeting about future activities.

This Ibasho creation will be practiced by borrowing the space of Kurumu Shrine in Miwa Hondori Shopping Street.Activities are scheduled to start in mid-September.
We will continue to create a place where anyone can stop by, so please stop by if you are reading this article.
