The deadline for the declaration of a state of emergency, September 9, is approaching, but there are reports that an extension of two to three weeks is being considered, and there are continuing concerns about the spread of infection among young people. increase.
On September 9th (Sat) and 4th (Sun), our university implemented workplace vaccinations (university-based vaccinations) for the new coronavirus, providing an opportunity for just under 5 people to be vaccinated. At this stage, according to the results of a survey conducted by the university's Universal Passport, 1000% of students have already taken vaccinations, such as those who have already been vaccinated or have made a reservation. However, 61.1% of the other students are willing to be vaccinated, but do not seem to have made an appointment. Also, even on the 23th and 4th, there were some students who were unable to get vaccinated due to poor physical condition and stay-at-home due to close contact.
Looking at the situation of students who have contracted the new coronavirus infection at our university, most of them have not been vaccinated. Some students may be afraid of side effects, but it has been announced that the aftereffects of vaccinated people are milder than those of non-vaccinated people. can be said to be larger thanDue to the spread of infection among young people, it is said that it is difficult to make an appointment for vaccination in many areas such as Tokyo and Osaka.
Considering these circumstances, we will use the valuable vaccines left over due to cancellations, etc., to help those who wanted to get vaccinated on the 4th and 5th but were unable to, and those who did not take action to get vaccinated. Therefore, as an emergency response, we will set up additional vaccination dates as follows.
