Halloween decorations can be seen everywhere.Speaking of Halloween, there are many orange pumpkin decorations.
Orange is the color most commonly associated with Halloween decorations, fruit oranges and mandarin oranges, but in English, it is also used as the color of cats. What kind of cat do you think an orange cat is?You can see cats that look like mandarin oranges in cartoons and illustrations, but you don't see them in real life.In Japanese, it means brown cat.
English is a little wider than Japanese, and colors including brown are expressed as orange.
Similarly, in Japanese, ``blue'' is used to include ``green''. Although it is described as "green leaves", the leaves are usually "green".The traffic light is also called "green light", but the actual color is "green".Ever wondered why they didn't call you "green light" when you were little? In English, a green light is expressed using "green" as you see it.
In fact, ancient Japanese used four words to represent colors: red, blue, black, and white. Therefore, "blue" was used to include green. For this reason, there are still many expressions that use the color “blue” when the color is actually green.
Even if you think they represent the same color, there are differences depending on the language.
