On October 10th, the San'in Kaigan Geopark Promotion Council Regional Cloud Exchange Meeting was held live online.
More than 90 people participated not only from Kyoto, Hyogo and Tottori Prefectures, where the San'in Kaigan Geopark is located, but also from all over the country, and the event was a great success.
This was the first attempt at a geopark in Japan, and was highly evaluated at the UNESCO pre-screening meeting held last month.
It started with a keynote speech by Ms. Megumi Nakagawa, the representative of the General Foundation of War, followed by presentations by five local entrepreneurs, and the prize money is donated from the cloud fund by voting by the participants.It is a very interesting initiative in which entrepreneurs inside and outside the region and people who support them connect, cooperate with each other, join forces to launch new business models, and provide support.
From our university, seven students from the corporate research group Being participated and asked questions, interacting with many business people and learning from them.
