On November 11th (Tuesday), the 9 Fall Outstanding Achievers Award Ceremony was held at the Miki Campus.
This award was given to 2021 students with the Outstanding Achievement Award and 2 students with the Learning Encouragement Award based on their grades in the spring semester of 61.
President Hamana handed each of the awardees a certificate and words of encouragement.
[Excerpt from President Hamana's comment]
“The Learning Encouragement Award is not awarded based on relative grades, but is intended for all students who meet the absolute criteria of GPA and number of credits earned.This is because I believe that we have cleared one of the educational philosophies of our university, which is to "be a self-disciplined person = be a person who is strict with himself and makes constant efforts."
From the standpoint of a student, it is very wonderful to achieve academic results, but in the real world, that alone does not work.In order to become a person who can play an active role in society, I hope that you will comprehensively acquire problem-finding and solving skills, communication skills, etc. through KUISs learning benchmarks.
Please do your best in face-to-face classes in the fall semester as well as in remote classes in the spring semester. 』
In addition, the award winners were presented with a certificate and a book card as a supplementary prize.
The next commendation will be held in the spring semester, based on the results of the fall semester of the 2021 academic year.We look forward to the continued success of our students.
