[Faculty of Psychology] Discussion with young staff members of Miki City Hall in a facilitation exercise class

Continuing from last year, students taking the facilitation exercise (class teacher: psychology department lecturer, Akira Itayama) will participate in the “Miki Youth Meeting” hosted by Miki City in 2021.


The "Miki Youth Meeting" aims to make Miki City an attractive city by exchanging opinions among young people about measures and projects in Miki City. increase. In fiscal 2021, we will collaborate with business establishments in Miki City to develop new specialty products of Miki City and plan experience tours, etc., with the aim of giving shape to ideas unique to young people.


On November 11th (Friday), the Miki City Marriage Division, which is in charge of the project, and young staff members from each department visited the Kobe Yamate Campus to receive a lecture on the ongoing projects, which is scheduled for January. A discussion was held prior to the meeting with high school students.
Among the young staff members of Miki City, graduates of the university in 2020 also participated, and a heated exchange of opinions was exchanged in a friendly atmosphere.


In January, I will act as a facilitator at a meeting for the final presentation with students from five high schools and businesses in Miki City.


*Facilitation exercises are classes that aim to enhance facilitation skills, which work to promote intellectual interaction such as meetings and discussions. We are training the skills necessary for facilitators such as organizing and (XNUMX) building consensus.
