Our university ran a booth at the "Kobe Gathering" held on November 11th (Wednesday).This event is intended to convey the appeal of major projects for a new stage to raise interest in Kobe to politicians, financial officials, and other people who are active in the Tokyo metropolitan area and who have a connection with Kobe.

Kobe City has adopted the concept of SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), and the theme of the five-year implementation plan "Kobe 5 Vision" (planning period 2025-2021) is "City that contributes to globalization nurtured by the sea and mountains". I'm doing it.

The "Kobe no Tsudoi" has been held at the venue in Tokyo every year, but due to the influence of the new coronavirus infection, it will be held again this year in a unique virtual space that utilizes VR space platform technology. , nearly 400 people attended.

In the opening remarks by the vice president of the Kobe Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the host of the event, in the main hall, the vaccination rate for the new coronavirus infectious disease was nearly 8%, and the expectation that it would lead to the internationalization of Kobe Airport was shared with the participants at the venue. shared.

Of the 4 sub-venues, our university exhibited in ROOM 3 "Attractive Town Development", which is the same as the Gulf Development, Sannomiya Redevelopment, Kobe Airport, and Global Contribution Cities Nurtured by the Sea and Mountains.

At our exhibition booth, we introduce our efforts in "global, safety, and management", and we have a high percentage of overseas dispatches and acceptance of foreign students, international cooperation activities related to safety, and human resources in the field of sports. It was an opportunity to spread the appeal of our university.

Mr. Kizo Hisamoto, the mayor of Kobe City, also visited our booth and was very interested in what we had on display.

In line with the Kobe 2025 vision, our university aims to become a city that contributes to the global community, nurtured by the sea and mountains. We will continue to contribute to the development of Kobe City by further building cooperative relationships with companies.
