[Study Support Office] We held a study support tutor project, "Nursing process question session"! (Miki Campus)

During the 11th period on November 17 (Wednesday) and the 4rd and 25th periods on the 3th (Thursday), we held a "Nursing Process Questionnaire" for second-year nursing students.

Nursing process is important for evidence-based nursing practice, but many nursing students feel they are not good at it.The 4th-year tutors of the Department of Nursing responded to the questions of the 2nd-year students in order to provide support for the nursing process issues presented in each area.

(Participant's impression: Partial excerpt from the questionnaire)

  • I'm glad that I was able to solve the troubles in the nursing process.
  • I have a good understanding of how the nursing process works.
  • I've been struggling with how to write nursing processes for a long time, so I was able to soften my weak awareness of the nursing process a little by being taught this time.It was really good to participate this time. Please let me know if there is anything you do not understand.
  • Motivated to work on the nursing process!

[Comment from the learning support tutor who responded]

  • Since there was no connection between drug therapy and disease, it seemed difficult to think about it, so I told him the need to investigate the effects and side effects of drugs.Everyone listened intently and I could feel their enthusiasm. (Tabuchi)
  • Many people said that they did not know how to raise problems or how to think about assessment, so I was glad to hear that their concerns were resolved. It was really nice to have so many people come for two days. (Teramoto)
  • I was able to convey the viewpoints and points to be assessed.I explained specifically how to write such as including the direction of nursing in the assessment. I'm glad that you said, "I'm glad you came today." (Higashihata)

Thank you to everyone who participated!

Also, if you have any questions or need advice, feel free to ask your tutor.
